Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of cartanoor.com and any purchases made through our store. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Carta Noor is operated from Hungary and is subject to Hungarian and EU law.
1. About Carta Noor
Carta Noor is a premium wallcovering brand producing made-to-order wallpaper rolls, murals, and bespoke wallcoverings, operated from Hungary. Contact: hello@cartanoor.com | cartanoor.com
2. Products
All wallpaper and wallcovering products are described as accurately as possible. Due to screen calibration differences, colours may vary slightly from what is displayed — we recommend ordering a sample before committing to a full order. As artistic products, slight variations in colour and texture may occur between production batches and are considered part of the handcrafted character of our wallcoverings. This does not affect your statutory rights.
3. Artistic Ownership
All wallpaper designs, patterns, and website content are the exclusive intellectual property of Carta Noor. By purchasing, you receive a licence to use the physical product in your personal space. You may not reproduce, copy, or digitally distribute our patterns, use our designs for commercial purposes, or create derivative works based on our artwork without prior written permission.
4. Order Accuracy
You are responsible for providing correct wall measurements, verifying design selections before purchase, and ensuring your shipping address is accurate. Carta Noor cannot be held responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided at the time of order.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices are displayed in HUF and other currencies where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors — if an error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding. Payment is due in full at the time of order.
6. Made-to-Order Production
Most Carta Noor products are printed specifically to your order. Production typically begins shortly after order confirmation. Cancellations and modifications may not be possible once production has started — please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.
7. Shipping
Shipping times and costs are outlined in our Shipping Policy. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs processing or third-party carriers. Risk passes to you upon delivery.
8. EU Consumer Rights
Right of Withdrawal If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise this right, contact us at hello@cartanoor.com within 14 days of delivery. You must return the item within a further 14 days; return shipping costs are your responsibility. We will issue a full refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods.
Made-to-Order Exemption The right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order or custom-dimension products under Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU, as these are manufactured to your specifications. This includes all custom wallpaper rolls, murals, and bespoke orders.
2-Year Statutory Guarantee All products are covered by a 2-year statutory guarantee under EU law. If your product is defective or does not conform to your order, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund regardless of any other timeframes stated in these terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
Carta Noor's total liability is limited to the purchase price of your order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including costs of installation, removal, or redecoration. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply and are not affected by this choice of law.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that purchase.
