The Artisanal Zellige is a deliberate study in material authenticity—reimagining the ancient, hand-cut ceramic traditions of Fes, Morocco, within the seamless, modern framework of a wall mural.

The Architecture of the Fes

Inspired by the workshops where zellige has been crafted for over a millennium, this mural translates the character of fired, glazed ceramic into a contemporary masterpiece. Each tile face is rendered with subtle glaze shifts and tonal variations, capturing that signature "controlled imperfection" that allows a wall to shimmer and shift as the light moves across its surface.

On the Wall

The palette—warm terracotta, dusty blue, ivory, and the ochre of aged grout—delivers the visual richness of a tiled surface without the weight or complexity of traditional ceramic. From a distance, it reads as a unified, shimmering field; step closer, and the individual tonal variations reveal themselves, evoking a deep sense of heritage and craft that is perfectly suited to kitchens, boutique bars, or intimate alcoves.

Sizing and Coverage

• Panel width: 30 in (76 cm) — the same on every length.
• Panel lengths: 96 in (244 cm), 108 in (274 cm), 120 in (305 cm) and 144 in (366 cm). We fit the shortest length that covers your wall, so a lower ceiling costs less.
• Sample: 30 in × 20 in (76 cm × 51 cm) — a full panel width, posted free worldwide.

Which finish should I choose?

• Peel and Stick — self-adhesive backing. No paste and no water. Repositionable as you hang it and removable later, so it is the usual choice for renters and first-time installers.
• Pre-Pasted — the adhesive is already on the back and is activated with water. Nothing separate to buy or mix.
• Non-Pasted — you apply wallpaper paste to the wall yourself. The traditional method, and the one most decorators prefer for a permanent installation.
