Carta NoorFor those who specify with intention

A dedicated programme for interior designers, architects, and hospitality specifiers who demand provenance, precision, and a supplier who understands the difference.

The trade difference

Built for the serious specifier

Carta Noor is not a consumer catalogue with a trade tab bolted on. Every design is reconstructed from historical architectural sources and printed to order in the EU. Panels are 76 cm wide in four lengths, and we supply the shortest that covers your elevation rather than one standard drop — so the waste your fitter cuts off is measured, not assumed.

Provenance

Every pattern reconstructed from historical buildings and archival sources.

Precision

Panels are 76 cm wide and printed in four lengths — 244, 274, 305 and 366 cm. We supply the shortest length that covers your elevation, so your client is not paying for paper the fitter cuts off.

Production

Manufactured to order in the EU on premium non-woven, printed with water-based HP Latex inks. A certified contract substrate for hospitality specification is in development.

Partnership

A single point of contact from first sample to final install, across every project you bring to us.

What trade membership includes

What you get, from the first order

Approved once. Your trade code applies to every order, including samples.

Four lengths, so you specify only what you need

Every panel is 76 cm wide. Lengths are 244, 274, 305 and 366 cm, and the shortest one that covers the wall is the one supplied. A 2.6 m ceiling takes the 274 cm panel rather than the 305 cm — roughly 10% less paper and 10% less cost on every panel of the run.

Trade discount of 20%

Applied with your personal trade code, on every order including samples. No per-project negotiation.

Trade pricing on samples

Your trade code applies to sample orders too, so you can build a client presentation at trade cost.

Panel schedule from your elevations

Send dimensioned elevations and we return the panel schedule — length, count per wall and the sequence they hang in — before you commit. Murals are fitted to the elevation proportions rather than cropped.

Direct line to the studio

You correspond with the people who draw the patterns, not a support queue. Specification questions answered by someone who knows the geometry.

Technical documentation

Substrate data, washability guidance and installation instructions supplied with every order, together with a numbered panel schedule for the fitter.

Custom colourways

Our patterns are geometrically reconstructed rather than scanned, so recolouring and rescaling to a scheme is straightforward. Ask and we will quote.

Trade pricing

One rate, no negotiation

Approved practices receive a single trade rate on every order, including samples. No tiers to climb and no annual minimums. List prices scale with panel length, so the discount applies to the length your elevation actually needs. If you have a substantial project, write to us and we will quote it directly.

Who qualifies for the trade programme?

Any verified interior design, architecture, hospitality design, or property development practice with an active portfolio can apply. Set and film designers are also welcome.

What size are the panels?

Every panel is 76 cm (30 in) wide. Length comes in four options — 244 cm (96 in), 274 cm (108 in), 305 cm (120 in) and 366 cm (144 in) — and the price scales with length, so a lower wall costs less. Samples are 76 by 51 cm (30 by 20 in).

How is the quantity for a wall calculated?

Panels hang in whole widths, so the count is the wall width divided by 76 cm and rounded up — a 240 cm wall takes four panels, not three and a bit. Wall height decides the length: we take the shortest panel that covers the height plus about 5 cm for trimming, so a 260 cm wall takes the 274 cm panel. Walls of different heights on one project are supplied in different lengths. The configurator on every product page does this for you and shows the seam positions.

How much is the trade discount?

Approved practices receive 20% off list on every order, including samples. You will be issued a personal trade code to enter at checkout.

Is there a minimum order or annual spend to join?

No. There is no minimum spend required to apply, and no annual commitment.

How long does approval take?

We review every application within two working days.

Can I get samples before ordering for a client?

Yes. Samples are available for every design at 30 by 20 inches (76 by 51 cm), and your trade code applies to sample orders.

Where is Carta Noor wallpaper printed?

Every design is manufactured to order in the European Union on premium non-woven substrate, printed with water-based HP Latex inks. Our current material is specified for residential and light-commercial use. A fire-certified contract substrate for hospitality projects is in development — ask us for the current status if you are specifying for a hotel.

Can I request a custom colourway for a project?

Yes. Because our patterns are geometrically reconstructed rather than scanned, recolouring and rescaling to a scheme is straightforward. Send us the palette and we will quote.
