The Pattern
Mughal Jungle Exotic Garden Luxury Wallpaper is rooted in the garden paintings produced for the Mughal emperors of India between the 16th and 18th centuries — a body of work that depicted paradise as a structured landscape of trees, flowering plants, birds and animals, all arranged within a framework of paths and water channels. The Mughal garden was not a wild space but a designed one, and that tension between abundance and order is what gives this pattern its character. Stylised trees rise from a layered ground of foliage; birds are placed with the deliberateness of manuscript illustration; the composition repeats across the wall in a way that feels continuous rather than mechanical. The palette draws on the deep blues, warm ochres and botanical greens of Mughal court painting, updated to work with contemporary interiors.
On the Wall
Mughal Jungle brings a sense of contained wildness to a room — lush enough to feel alive, structured enough to feel considered. It works particularly well in dining rooms, where the layered foliage creates an immersive backdrop for a table setting, and in creative studios or children's rooms, where the sense of discovery in the pattern rewards longer looking. In boutique hospitality, it has the visual weight to anchor a feature wall without requiring additional decoration. From across the room it reads as a rich tapestry of greens and accent tones; step closer and individual branches, leaves and birds emerge, each drawn with the care of miniature painting. The pattern suits both full-room wraps and single feature walls, and pairs well with dark timber, rattan, aged brass and terracotta.
