The Pattern
Pomegranate Dreams Symbolic Garden Luxury Wallpaper is centred on one of the most enduring motifs in the decorative arts of the Middle East, Central Asia and the Mediterranean: the pomegranate. In Persian, Ottoman and Mughal visual culture, the pomegranate carried layered meanings — abundance, fertility, the unity of many within one — and appeared in textiles, tilework, manuscript borders and garden design across centuries and cultures. This design draws on that symbolic tradition, arranging pomegranate fruits, leaves and branches into an intimate, repeating garden pattern. The drawing style references the hand-touched quality of historic textile design — slightly irregular, warm and personal — rather than the precision of geometric construction. The palette is soft: dusty rose, warm ochre, sage green and cream on a ground that sits between ivory and pale stone, a combination that works in rooms that receive both warm and cool natural light.
On the Wall
Pomegranate Dreams is one of the most domestic patterns in the Carta Noor collection — a design that creates warmth and comfort rather than drama or spectacle. It works particularly well in bedrooms, where the soft palette and the intimate scale of the pattern create a sense of enclosure and ease. In nurseries and children's rooms, the botanical subject matter and the hand-drawn quality give the space a storybook character without being childish. In breakfast nooks and kitchen dining areas, the warmth of the palette and the organic rhythm of the pattern suit the informality of the space. From a distance it reads as a gentle, organic field; step closer and the details of each fruit and stem appear, giving the pattern a hand-touched quality that feels personal rather than generic. It pairs naturally with linen, natural wood, hand-thrown ceramics and woven textiles.
